What more can you ask for in an amp?  40 watts of power provided by two 6L6’s, 3 12AX7’s for the preamp, spring reverb, two channels which are footswitchable, and an effects loop.  As Fender says “Everything you need, and nothing you don’t!”

Action, Fit and Finish: 5/5

Comes in black with silver cloth, or blond with oxblood cloth.  Also has an optional black cover to protect it when not in use.  Mine is black and silver, and it looks amazing.  I would have preferred the blond for a more vintage look, but I can’t complain.

Sound: 5/5

This is everything a tube amp should be.  Loud, creamy, and warm.  I don’t use the drive channel, I just crank the clean until I overdrive the power tubes.  However, it gets REALLY loud!  This is not an amp for bedroom practice, it is much more suited for band rehearsals and club gigs.  Look for a Fender Champ if you want bedroom levels and great tone.  This is everything I’ve ever wanted in an amp, and it works great with pedals, too!

Overall: 5/5

This is my first tube amp, and I think I’m going to hang on to it forever.  Fender has always held a special place in my heart, and amps like this are the reason why.  If you’re in a band, this is a great amp.  It won’t sound like a Marshall or a Mesa, but it’s amazing.  I’ve found it perfect for small to medium gigs, and for rehearsal.  If I ever end up playing a large venue, I’ll just plop a mic in front of it and run it to the board.  This amp is everything I need.
