Windows XP Professional, an Operating system made by Microsoft CorporationMicrosoft Corporation,
Windows XP is to be Microsoft's best Windows Operating System since Win95.

When Windows XP first released, it was too expensive and annoying with some parts, the un-friendly users of microsoft became more un-friendly.

So very soon microsoft released a PRO edition of WIndows XP, which turned out to be really
yet best Windows OS, the least you can admire about it is the Remote Connections,

"Remote Connections" a feature added to the WinXP which surely made life easier for most
networking organizations and other people who were confused by the networking resources provided with Windows 2000.

After many tests and reports Windows XP's Stability was determined to be the best, it runs your games more faster and reliably then ever, WinXP was the fastest to bootup when tested
every Windows OS - and Win98 turned out to be the slowest of them all!.

Windows XP was built on the backend of "Win2000 Kernel", which greatly increases the reliability of your games and other programs, you can rely on the performance for sure.

Windows XP provides users with great Remoate Assistance Tools, powerful Adminstration Control, along with reliable security, WinXP was also bundled with many features that were in Windows 2000 but re-designed for easier use.

Microsoft Introduced the new New Fast User switching / login screens, the graphics and speed expereince is overall perfect.

Windows XP usability is for sure outstanding, very easy to use indeed!

Windows XP includes plenty of visual effects, including fading menus, drop shadows, softer-looking boxes, brighter colors, cartoon-like animations, and other desktop wizardry.

Many of the visual enhancements are the result of Microsoft taking advantage of alpha blending, a graphics process that melds foreground and background colors for such effects as translucency and colorful intensification. The OS's new look has been one of the major selling points for Windows XP; the company contends it's a fresher, more engaging, interface. As part of our continuing series focusing on the nuts and bolts of Windows XP.

LCD / ClearType support
LCD user might appreciate the ClearType option, which helps smooth out the edges of fonts -- a useful feature as the text quality on LCDs isn't consistently crisp or sharp and can vary from model to model. We tried the ClearType option with a 19-inch Trinitron CRT, but the difference in text quality between ClearType and Standard mode wasn't discernible.

Enchanced Windows Media Player (WMP)
The windows media player finally offers CD burning, perhaps the most useful change.
Keep in mind that to take advantage of WMP DVD features, you'll need a DVD-ROM drive and a third-party application. Many systems that come bundled with DVD-ROM drives come equipped with software to play DVDs. To use MP3 encoding within WMP or play DVDs, you can download a plug-in offered by either Intervideo or Cyberlink, though both companies offer MP3 encoding and DVD decoding as a package for $19.95.

Windows Movie Maker
Nothing much to brag about here since the biggest oversight in WinXP is the poor and limited support for video editing, Windows Movie Maker doesn't offer much more then dragging and dropping movies into timeline, which you can then accent with the occasional fade, there wasn't much expections from anyone for this but you'll be better of with a separate Video Editing Tool.

Internet Explorer 6.0
A great inclusion to Windows XP was the addition of IE 6.0, despite the fact that it comes installed with Windows, its still the worlds most famous browser with top-notch features and enchancements to browse how you like, its filled with great options and support for Resizing Images, also comes with a media player of its own to playback online movies, songs.

"There are many more features added to the release, including a Built-in Firewall, File and Setting Transfer,  Support for home and lan networking, bundled with dozens of drivers for the upto date hardwares, and it also includes Windows Messenger and IIS server built-in."

Compatibility
Despite Microsoft's efforts to improve hardware and software compatibility through its "Dynamic Update" feature during installation, the reality is that there are thousands of hardware devices and software applications. It's likely that some computer users will find devices and applications that will not work with XP. If Microsoft doesn't have the driver in its database, it will search for updates via the Internet. If it doesn't find the driver, you'll have to wait for the company to build one.

"Well the most important thing is that WinXP PRO is a MUST upgrade for Windows 95 and Windows 98 Users.!!"
